Summary

Tonight’s guest, Mary, had her first Sasquatch sighting when she was only 4 years old, growing up in Portland, Oregon. She didn’t just see one of them either. It was fall and she was playing on a two-story fort at the time, 3 doors down from where she lived. Before she knew it, she had a group of Sasquatch, of various ages, around her. One of them even grabbed her, by her shoulders, and screamed in her face! There were several details from that experience that were missing from her memory until she consulted a hypnotherapist. After the consultation, she recalled several other things that happened during that encounter. That’s not the only sighting she’s had, however. Years later, when she was an adult, she watched a female Sasquatch step into her living room in a very strange way. 0:00.9	My name is Mary and I'm 57 years old and I work as a hairdresser and I have had several experiences
0:13.3	with Sasquatch. My first being when I was four years old. I had sort of a memory of, well,
0:23.5	all of us kids had been playing down at this two-story fort and it was an open fort and it was in
0:31.9	the back of a neighbor's house about three houses down and it was in the summer and all of us
0:38.3	were playing on this fort and it was an open fort. It had a first story that was just an open
0:43.2	playing and then it had a second story with a ladder that went up to the second story and then
0:50.8	just below it, it kind of declined and it went into the railroad tracks. This was in Portland,
0:56.4	Oregon and really close into the city but there was a lot of fruit trees and blackberry bushes and
1:04.4	mounds everywhere and anyways it was in the fall and all the kids had gone to school but being four
1:12.4	years old I was too young to go to school so my parents had a couple friends over and they told me
1:21.2	that we were moving and they were loading up a truck and just unpacking the house or well packing
1:27.7	up everything and I decided I wanted to go see that fort so I went out the back door because
1:35.7	both the front and the back door were open and I went out the back door when my parents weren't
1:39.6	looking and I walked up to the sidewalk and I walked down past the house and then down to the
1:46.9	fort and when I got there I just walked straight up to the fort I never really looked up and when
1:54.4	I got there I was standing at the base of the fort and I looked up and I saw these hair cover
2:01.0	beings and then I remember looking at them and thinking in it well in 1968 their planet of the
2:08.8	apes came out and this was in 1969 and so I looked up and I thought maybe planet of the apes is real
2:16.4	but these don't look like planet of the ape characters and then the next thing I remember is I'm
2:23.9	walking back home and the world feels just really large and big and I I walk into the house
2:30.7	and my dad's like oh there you are and he picks me up and he puts me on the fire hearth
2:36.8	that's what I remembered and all my life it's kind of haunted me and over time I kind of started to
