Since moving to Montreal a couple years ago, I wanted to make the three-hour trip south down to Saratoga to bet the ponies and experience the party.

The girlfriend and I went down for Alabama weekend in August, and it exceeded our expectations.

We only planned on going to the track on Saturday and maybe for a hike Sunday.

Instead, we skipped the hike, went back to the track on Sunday.

We had the best time the picnic area is electric.

We handicapped the races the night before.

She kicked my ass. We also

played the Breeders Cup that weekend. We're totally hooked. So thank you for hyping up Saratoga

as much as you have. We tell the couple of your dinner recommendations and next year we'll go bigger.
