Sorry, I got a little discombobulated there.

We're filming or recording this at such an odd time. It's thrown everything off. But just happy to be here and happy to have you listening. Yes, we are. Yes, we are. It's kind of melancholy right now. Why? Well, bad news. Yeah, we've had it. It's been a sad, sad news today.

But, you know, a lot of good positive things happening too. It's always something, isn't it? There are. And we're going to have fun on this podcast. We're not trying to. Not on that note. Well, you know, we're not going to beat you down. But, you know, we follow the Cowboys and make our picks. and I think everybody knows by now I'm a huge fan and have been since I was a little kid.

Yeah, there was a report just came out in the news, and you're probably seeing it on social media right now.

But there was a player for the Cowboys named Marshawn Neeland. He was 24 years old.

Second round pick from Western Michigan in 2024, a good player. Apparently a very, very nice guy,

but he committed suicide. Yeah, sad. Very sad. We just found out about it just a little bit ago.

And that was from the Frisco Police.

So this is not a rumor.

This is not, not legit.

And what makes it even, I guess, sadder is just, you know, seems like he had the whole world in front of him.

Yeah, he just had the best game of his career.

Yeah, the best game of his career.

Yeah.

But he's had a lot of tragedy in his life too, right? And his mother passed away at a young, young age for him. Yeah, she passed away in 24. And I guess there's more information about his life coming out. He's just a young guy, 24 years old. It's just sad. But yeah, there was a, I guess what's been reported is he tried to uh he told his family and a couple
