0:24.8	watching heavy, heavy news all day today. I tried to lay down and take a nap. And right
0:32.3	when I did, my phone started ringing or dinging with messages about Charlie Kirk being shot at,

0:44.8	He's a conservative and he goes around to college campuses and basically just,
0:49.3	you know, tries to have healthy debates with people, you know,
0:53.0	who oppose conservative beliefs and values.
0:56.7	Anyway, got the news that he had been shot and immediately nap over, started praying that
1:05.5	because at that point, my friend said that there was a pulse, but then within minutes heard the news
1:12.1	that Charlie Kirk had passed away, and it's just been a really hard day.
1:16.5	I just think it's just scary what's happening in our country, no matter what side of the
1:21.1	fence you're on politically.
1:22.4	It's just a very, very sad day.
1:24.2	So it's been really heavy, but, you know, we have a podcast to record, but that's,
1:28.8	you know, kind of a fog, a cloud hanging over Alan and me right now. So I really apologize
1:35.4	that we're not coming with the usual enthusiasm. We're not a political podcast by, well,
1:41.4	we, you know, we don't talk politics very much, if at all, but this is just,
1:46.8	this, I think, goes beyond politics, just humanity, right?
