It's a very dark weekend.

And in the season of light that is Christmas and Hanukkah together, I hate it that I have to open up a week's shows this way.

But we cannot ignore the news.

There's a horrific massacre down under.

Sixteen are dead at Bondi Beach at a Hanukkah celebration.

I do not know that every one of the dead victims is Jewish.

I suspect they are.

They haven't told me.

The killers were Islamists.

One of the heroes was a Muslim who took down one of the killers.

And we also lost two American servicemen, an American civilian in Syria,

but the massacre of Jews down under, after two years of warning by the Jewish community of Australia,
