Summary
Up first: "A Sacrifice Hit" A romantic novel writer out to make himself a star at everyone else's expense marries a girl that he thinks can push him up the ladder of success. In "The Ferry of Unfulfillment, a lucky prospector returns from Alaska loaded with gold dust and looking for the girl of his dreams in New York City and finds her.
