A roundup on race, ethnicity, and anti-semitism.

Preamble to all this, I much prefer to speak about ethnic relations in terms of ethnicity

and not in terms of race.

But when you fly to Europe, sometimes you have to use euros to buy things.

So in this piece, I will sometimes use the word racism the way it's commonly understood

by reasonable people I mean, not by fanatics, bear with me.

In addition, over the last week or so, a lot of questions about ethnicity have come my

way.

In order to address as many as possible, it will be necessary for me to meander a bit.

This is purposeive and intentional, and no reason to think that I'm losing my grip.

There may be other reasons for thinking I'm losing my grip, but this would not be one

of them.

Or maybe I'm not losing my grip at all people.

So which cat laid this dead rodent on our doorstep?

In a recent Twitter thread, Alistair Roberts said this, quote,

as a movement, Christian nationalism has real problems with e.g. racism and anti-semitism,

but these issues are not integral to it.

Reflection upon the sociology of the movement and some of its tenants should, however,

make clear that there are reasons why it is peculiarly susceptible to such issues.

Susceptibilities to such issues aren't sufficient arguments against positions, but
