So today we're talking about our favorite romcom books, our favorite romcom movies, and our favorite romcom tropes.

And we have a bunch of very exceptional voicemails from you, our listeners, to contribute to the conversation as well.

Yes, I loved how much people wanted to participate in this one.

I also feel like I got some book recs that I had never heard of before from this, so I'm very excited.

Yeah, me too, because I'm filling out this outline I realized I'm not a romcom person book-wise.

So I think I have a thing or two to learn.

What's your high?

My high is that I am in Maine for two-ish weeks. I am house-sitting, slash, dog-sitting, slash, having a solo writing retreat.

And I'm very excited. It's very snowy up here.

I'm staying in my friend's house. She's here right now, but she leaves on Saturday.

So I'm kind of like trying out this rural, I'm cosplaying rural life.

How do you like it? I feel like I kind of am, too, but I live here.

I don't know. I'm a little scared when she leaves, cos I'm so in the middle of nowhere.

So I'm a little bit nervous.

But overall, I'm excited. I'm excited to just kind of take things very slowly and hopefully get a lot of work done on my book.
