Hello, Winebbers. My name is Jesse Meekham and this is podcast number 374 for Wineab, where we teach you four rules to help you stop leaving

We just wrapped up, I literally flew in just a few hours ago, we wrapped up the Wienab Company

Retreat, where we have all the full-time employees come out to a pretty cool spot

and hang out and just talk about budgeting the entire time.

All we do is talk about budgeting and credit cards and reconciling and how the mechanics work and

priorities and rule three and no none of that.

We just have fun and we don't get to see each other very often because we're all

remote so it's fun just to reconnect every year we have probably I don't know 15 or

20 people that we've never seen before and they appear and after ID verification we do indeed

recognize that they are part of the team and we you know we keep them there we

don't call security or anything we've've never had anyone sneak in and pretend to be a WANAM team member.

So far, it's worked out just fine.

I wanted to talk about, because this was a little bit of a topic at the retreat, I wanted to talk about because this was a little bit of a topic at the retreat I wanted to talk about

non-negotiables and I've mentioned this before on the podcast. I think it is a key principle as you think about your own budgeting, your own priorities.

The two non-negotiables that I've mentioned in my past were the fact that Julie and I, when we

married, we knew we wanted to have kids at some point and we decided

very early on that Julie would just focus 100% full-time on the baby once the baby was born

she wouldn't worry about working but you can't just say we won't worry about working because money needs to be there and that was one of the

problems that was one of the that was an impetus for me starting

why nap was so that we could find some other means of income to replace
