| 0:42.8 | Tom Cotton, he's the Republican Senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee, wrote a letter |
| 0:48.3 | to the Attorney General, Merrick Garland. |
| 0:50.7 | And the letter was about the case of a man named Montez Lee. |
| 0:55.6 | He was a man from Rochester, Minnesota, and he had been sentenced to 10 years in prison. |

| 1:03.9 | Well, because he set a fire, he's an arsonist, he set a fire, that killed a man during |
| 1:08.9 | the Black Lives Matter riot in Minneapolis. |
| 1:12.9 | And this is a little bit of the background of that case. |
| 1:16.0 | It was May 28th, 2020. |
| 1:19.7 | You remember it was a pretty terrible time, a lot of riots going on. |
| 1:23.4 | And then a pawn shop in Minneapolis and Montez Lee and some others broke into the shop. |
| 1:30.7 | And there's a video, because fortunately for law enforcement, criminals often take video |
| 1:35.4 | of themselves. |
