In the name of the Father and of the Son of the Holy Spirit, amen.

My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time

of prayer fruitful. My immaculate Mother St. Joseph, my father, and Lord, my guardian angel,

and deceitful. With your permission, Lord Jesus Christ, truly present with us in the Blessed Sacrament.

We could begin our meditation reading these celebrated words of our Lord

that strike at the heart of our discipleship following him.

Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going.

How can we know the way?

Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the father, but by me.

Our Lord reveals, he doesn't use that phrase, but the concept is certainly this. He is a roadmap.

A map indicates the roadway to reach a destination. The destination here is happiness. Eternal happiness that begins here on Earth is not perfect but it's real and it

could improve and it culminates in heaven but he's not just a road map he's a roadmap

and a roadway.

I am the true way that leads to life.

And you need to traverse away.

And the geographical section of this way is my own heart. And the steps I take are deeds of love.

The more deeds of love, the more I approach the destination of life.

Another word for life is holiness, sanctity.
