My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence. I ask you for pardon of my sins and grace to make this time of prayer

fruitful. My mother immaculate, St. Joseph, my father and Lord, my guardian angel intercede for me.

On this beautiful solemnity of the most sacred heart of Jesus, we could perhaps begin our prayer by asking St. Jose Maria to intercede for us, and and more than that to accompany us in our prayer.

A beautiful text which we can meditate on in our own time about the sacred heart of Jesus. And we know that the founder

of Opus Day had a very deep devotion to the sacred heart of our Lord. And following his example

and his advice, let's try to enter into meditation, into prayer, by praying about the Holy Gospel.

Because Lord Jesus, it is through the Holy Gospel that we come to know you and love you more deeply.

Your sacred humanity is the gateway to the Father.

He who sees me sees the Father.

That's why St. José Maria often invited people and encouraged people to seek Christ, to find Christ, to deal with Christ,

to love Christ and to bring Him everywhere.

Jesus, that's what I'd like to be the fruit of this period of prayer,

to seek you, to find you, to speak with you, to be with you, to deal with you,

to love you and to be loved by you with all the love of your heart, and to seek then afterwards

to bring all the love of your heart to many, many people.

Lord Jesus, we see your humanity in a very moving way,

in a very palpable way in your passion,

the vulnerability of God,
