Hi there, everyone. It's 4 o'clock in New York. It is a horrific crime, even by the standards

of a nation that has become all too familiar with horrific crimes and gun violence, a nation

that often bears witness to more than one mass shooting a day. Five people were brutally

murdered Friday night in Cleveland, Texas by a gunman with an AR-15 rifle. The spark,

if you will, for the shooting, a complaint from a neighbor. Here's how the New York Times

reports what happened. Quote, Francisco Oropeza was firing his gun in his yard, again on Friday

night, rattling off loud bangs that were keeping Wilson Garcia's baby awake. So Mr. Garcia

said he went over to his neighbor and asked if he could stop. Mr. Oropeza, who the authority

said had been drinking, said no. His yard, he said, his rules. Mr. Garcia, 30, warned

that he would call the police. But after Mr. Oropeza, 38, walked back to his house, he

re-emerged with an AR-15. He walked toward Mr. Garcia's cream-colored home where he shot

and killed Mr. Garcia's wife, who had called the police and was standing near the entrance.

The rampage continued inside Mr. Garcia's home, where the authority said Mr. Oropeza

fatally shot for other people, almost execution style. One of the victims is a nine-year-old

little boy. His name is Daniel Enrique Lazo. The other victims are all members of one family.

They are new to this country, all of them, helling from Honduras, including Garcia's

wife, Sonia Guzman, 25 years old, Diana Velasquez, Alvarado, 21 years old, Julissa Molina Rivera,

31, and Jose Jonathan Casar is 18. Authorities say that three children survived the shooting,

and they survived because they were underneath or shielded by two of the women who were killed.

A manhunt is underway for the gunmen who's believed to be armed in dangerous. More than

250 officers are on the search as the FBI warns that they have, quote, zero leads and are
