to Earth. They made history as the first humans to fly aboard Boeing Starliner spacecraft

during NASA's Boeing crew flight test, or CFT.

Launch 5th, 24, aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space

Force Station, the CFT mission was Boeing's first crewed flight.

NASA and Boeing witnessed issues with the spacecraft thrusters on June 6 as Starliner approached

the space station.

Engineering teams reviewed a collection of data, conducted a variety of testing,

hosted independent reviews with agency propulsion experts, and developed various return contingency
