of a popcorn-fueled theme park journalist. I'm Carly Wiesel and and I won't say it on a podcast. This is a clean podcast. But anyway, this weekend was so much fun. It was so much fun. I went with my friend and earlier podcast guest, Jeffrey Upstein, to the MPTF Evening Before Gala.

Essentially, it is a huge pre-EMEs party hosted by MPTF,

the Motion Picture Television Fund, which, if you've heard of that and you don't know what it is,

it is a really, really fantastic organization.

It essentially supports members of the entertainment community and their families in a really, really

wide-reaching way.

We're talking to everything from financial assistance to mental health care to having an entire campus in the LA area with independent and

Assisted living for people in the industry who were in the industry. It's really phenomenal and it was so great to even in a tiny tiny

piece take part in one of their celebrations. The event was I'm just gonna say it it was a

Hollywood party that I usually never get to see and it was very, very, very, very fun.

And not just because they had, you know,

they'd catered food, you know, like pastas and salmon

and things like that.

But instead of past apps, they had people walking around with boxes of John and

Vinny's pizza, which is fantastic pizza, if you're ever in LA.

But they were walking around, you could just take a slice of pizza.

And on the way out someone was like

someone was carrying a box and they had pepperoni and I was gonna grab a slice

and they said take the whole box and I said okay.

So I left this party and hopped into an Uber and walked past like multiple people on TV shows that I watch and just like have a little bunch of pizza and went home and ate it for dinner and then breakfast.

So it was a, it was a wonderful, wonderful time. I saw a handful of people I know I was able to catch up with Paul Shear
