Well, Chelsea played twice since last we met.

The annual defeat at Goodison Park was followed by arguably the Blues poorest performance of the season at Molyneux on Tuesday.

That game freshest in the memory, so we'll focus mainly on it, but we'll look for themes

from both of them. Liam, I said that that was Chelsea's poorest performance so far this season. Do you

agree with that? Well, I haven't had a full night's sleep, so I can't remember much football

that happened before yesterday, but it was certainly right up there. Chelsea offered

very little in the first half. I mean, neither did Wolves, to be fair. It felt like a kind of rerun of the, of the Chelsea Spurs game in terms of the attacking verve being shown by both sides. But Chelsea were just about the better team in the first half. They played most of the game in the Wolves half and created a couple of chances.

Most notably that incredible air zoomer header.

And then in the second half, you know, they did exactly what you would have hoped for Chelsea to do in a game like this, which is to get a

breakthrough quite early in the second half. I mean, it was slightly fortunate that that Giroux

shot creeps through Ruud Patricio's hands. But being one-nil-up is, in theory, where you want to
