That was a greatest night in the history of television.

Welcome to London Calling with me, James Delling Pot and my very good friend, Mr Mr. Toby Young. Now, Tobes, I know you want to talk about

the Oscars, because you're Toby. I do. Because you think you care, don't you? You actually care?

Well, I used to stay up all night and watch the Oscars' jokes when I was more of a movie buff than I am now.

And I got into trouble actually to some of the things I said, I used to live tweet the Oscars Oscars, you know, back in, I don't know, 2009, 2010.

Sometimes with kind of groups of friends in all over the world and we used to kind of communicate

with each other via Twitter saying

rude things about the nominees and their acceptance speeches.

And some of those tweets were dragged up and used against me during the kind of great cancellation

in which I lost five positions at the beginning of 2018,

but I'm no longer as interested in the Oscars as I once was. I certainly don't stay up till 4 a.m. to watch them, but I feel like this year I really should have done because I missed the thing that everyone is talking about though

had I been in America I wouldn't have actually seen it because the producers you know panned away I think they cut to an ad or something,

when Will Smith marched up on stage and slapped Chris Rock. But it is pretty extraordinary, I think people in the audience thought it was scripted.

Well, yeah, and this audience did too. I don't believe it for a moment.
