Summary

A rainy day on the Lawn is great for the birds. They are so happy to find mud to make their nests and worms to feed their babies. They notice Silvertip, the cat, but don’t worry, as he has just eaten. Later in the day, they see Silvertip again, and he is on the move. Will he catch one of them? 0:17.2	It is a rainy day in today's story, and the birds are enjoying it.
0:25.6	They can't wait to look for worms.
0:30.6	Silver Tip and his little boy are also out, and the little boy helps the birds to stay safe.

0:49.6	When the sun rose that morning late in April, he tried and tried to look at the big house
0:57.6	and see what was happening. All he could see was a thick gray cloud veil stretched between him
1:07.4	and the earth and shine as hard as he might.
1:12.6	Not a single sunbeam went through that veil.
1:20.6	When the blackbirds awakened, they found a drizzling rain falling
1:25.6	and hurried on their waterproofs to get ready for a wet time.

1:43.3	They coat their feathers with oil from the pockets under their tails, as indeed all birds do.
1:53.0	And then they fly to the high branches of some tall and swaying trees and talk and talk and talk and talk.
