It was an early August morning when I drove to Rudy Haramio's house.

Rudy is the retired Texas ranger who worked on Irene Garza's case over the years who you've been hearing from over the past few episodes.

I wasn't sure what I was showing up to.

It was a short four-hour drive and yes, I said short four hours because Texas is massive.

Rudy lives in the rural outskirts of San Antonio, so there are lots of winding, hilly, two-lane

roads leading up to his home.

Eventually, I pulled into his incredibly long driveway, facing a one-story ranch house

in a neatly organized neighborhood of very

spread-out houses. All the houses were hugged by acres of land. Surprisingly and disappointingly,
