Welcome to the Netmore Girls Podcast, a multi-generational knitting production.

This is not a regular episode, just an update.

So normally this is the place where we would say welcome, welcome, and all that usual

stuff.

However, since this is an update, I'm just going to give you information and go from there.

You will find very quickly that my mother is the best part of the podcast and the secret

sauce that makes it so good because I'm not great at this by myself.

Okay, so let me rewind.

On Thursday morning, mom called me around 7 o'clock in the morning on FaceTime and because

I do morning routine with my kids, mom usually doesn't call me before the kids are at school

because it's crazy.

So seeing a FaceTime call from her, I answered it and from there I noticed a facial

group and slurring of speech.

So I zipped over there, brought her back over, had her call, the advisers threw some clothes

on and they said to call 911.

So we did that and they took mom and me to the closest emergency room apologies for the

acoustics.

I am recording from the disco bathroom because it is the only place in my house that is

not either 1 million degrees or will wake someone else up.

Okay, so they took us to the nearest emergency room where they evaluated mom and then basically

sent us off to our in-network HMO hospital for stroke stuff.

So they transferred us over to the in-network emergency room where we got checked in and did
