Hey everyone, quick heads up about the show on Spotify. I'm no longer going to be updating the

podcast there. Why? Well, it's not just one thing. It's a pile up. Over the last year,

Spotify has been corrupting our MP3s, which, yes, is as annoying as it sounds, deleting episodes from the feed, which is

even more annoying, and generally creating a frustrating experience for listeners.

But beyond tech issues, when you pay Spotify to listen to podcasts, none of that money goes to

independent podcasters, not a dime. And as for where that

money does go? Well, recently, Spotify's CEO dropped 600 million euros into an AI military startup,

which is about the most cursed sentence I've ever had to say out loud.

So, to recap, listeners are being charged for a worse experience.

Creators aren't being supported.

And the money is going to war robots.

So not exactly where I want the show to live. Now, if you're currently listening

on Spotify, no hard feelings. This is not a guilt trip. But if you want to keep hearing new episodes,

you're going to want to switch platforms. You can find us literally anywhere else podcasts are

distributed.

And we recommend Pocketcasts, Podcast Addict, or Overcast.

They're free, they're great, and they don't siphon off money for SkyNet.
