it feels too ordinary for us sometimes not realizing that spiritual formation is identical

to compound interest.

It does not feel special to put a penny in the bank, but you put a penny in the bank for 60 years,

you will be rich.

And liturgy is very, very similar.

It's about pointing your affections.
