But the Yankees lost to the Orioles 3-2. We know this. Here was the home run that did it. We had the no-hitter in the seventh inning for Ryan Weathers. Gives up a hit and a walk, take him out. Brent Hedrick comes in and did not do so great. Brent Hedrick. He's done some nice work here for the Yankees this season. One one picks. Swung on high drive, left field. That's going to stay fair. And that is gone. And that was a three-run homer. That was Dave Sims with the call here on the fan. 3-2 at that point, 3-2. The final. Yankees did get a runner on in the 9th. The base hit from Goldschmidt, the pinch running by Caballero. Then he's

thrown out trying to steal second base. Back to Weathers, though, for a moment. He says, not so terrible.

Actually, it was pretty damn good as he went into the seventh.

He got into the seventh inning, and, you know, my job was to give the bullpen a breather, and

I felt like I did that good enough tonight. Now, this is coming from a guy who's had a lot going on the last couple of weeks. His wife had a baby. We know about, I guess it was neurovirus or whatever it was where he lost the nine pounds in just a few days and was quite sick. There's been a couple weeks for sure. But, you know, that doesn't stop me from doing my job. My job is to compete and go out there and throw up as many zeros and give as many outs as I can get. And you got a lot of them last night. The problem was the Yankees didn't score other than a Ben Rice home run. The Yankees have lost four in a row. They're not scoring a ton of runs. Here was Rice and why things have stalled. I think opposing pitching has done a good job,

you know, making the pitches they need to in certain

situations.

I think

we just got to continue to do a good job of

having quality

pass, having quality of pass with men on

and making their guys work.
