Welcome to Walking is Fitness. This is a podcast of action, providing a little extra motivation

to help you keep that fitness promise you made to yourself, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since

2013, averaging about 21,000 steps a day. I'm walking right now, and I would love to have you

join me for the next 10 minutes. It is pleasant in South Carolina, the temperature a little bit above normal.

There is a breeze.

I'm walking before sunrise.

It is dark, but this time tomorrow, if I were walking at this time, I would be walking in daylight.

This past Tuesday was the one-year anniversary of walking is fitness, at least the one-year

anniversary of when I began recording the podcast, as you know it.

And I told that story on Monday, and then Tuesday I actually played that very first walking his fitness episode that no one had ever heard

because for the first couple of weeks, I recorded those, listened to them, and actually

deleted all of them except for the very first one. It wasn't until the middle of November

that I began hosting them so that you could

hear them. Angie and Debbie sent me very kind and encouraging, happy pod. How did Angie put it?

Happy potterversary. Happy one-year potterversary. Angie and Debbie have both been listeners really since day one.

And they have been so encouraging over the months, and they both took a moment and said congratulations on the one-year anniversary.
