Welcome back Tom Harbin here with you well it's come to this Nancy Pelosi this has been

reported by CNN Nancy Pelosi said and I quote this morning I spoke to the chairman

of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing

an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes

and ordering a nuclear strike.

The Speaker of the House is working with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to

prevent the president of the United States from nuking somebody perhaps even us.

That's what we've come to.

On the line with us for the hour is Representative Row Conner representing the 17th District

of California the Silicon Valley area in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Vice

Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus Congressman Conner we haven't had an opportunity

to talk since everything went down on Wednesday.

I don't know if you want to relate any of your experiences to us or not but I would love

to hear your thoughts on what happened then where we're at and where we go forward.

Well Tom thank you it was a horrific day to see the assault on our capital and assault

that Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani explicitly incited.

The irony is if you look at who they were actually going after it Donald Trump Jr. is saying

please go teach the Republican lawmakers a lesson so the invasion was actually targeted

at the Republicans who were not willing to object to the election.

I was in my office building in Canon we got an evacuation alert because apparently there

was a lead pipe bomb nearby went out of my building along with many people and started
