So the local to catch a predator story that caught our interest is this.

And a story only on KHU11, a mom posing as her teenage daughter to try and catch an online

predator.

And that Houston area mother says she helped catch the predator.

She did it by posing as her own daughter online.

Then confronting the suspect when he showed up at their house.

Jason Miles and Liberty County with the interview you only see KHU11.

The suspect is 34, the alleged victim 15.

The Liberty County Sheriff's Office says he solicited her on Facebook but ended up meeting her mother.

Liberty County may not deal with as much crime as other areas but online threats have no boundaries.

And Brandy Kelly believes a much older man purposely targeted her 15 year old on Facebook.

He told her that she was cute.

Kelly agreed to speak with me over the phone about what happened next.

She met the right lady on the wrong day unfortunately.

She shared DMs she actually exchanged with the 34 year old while posing as her daughter.

Ha ha I'm twice your age she writes.

She replies she's glad a more mature person thinks she's cute.

Really cute actually he replies.
