Summary
سولفنا في هذه الحلقة مع عمر الجاسر، الرئيس التنفيذي في «العربية للعود»، سلسلة محلات تقدم منتجات العود والعطور.
بدايةً حدَّثنا عمر الجاسر عن تاريخ العربية للعود منذ عام 1982، إذ كان عبارة عن محل صغير في «سوق الزل» في مدينة الرياض أسَّسه والد عمر، عبدالعزيز الجاسر.
ثم سألنا ضيفنا عن دوره منذ تولى العمل في «العربية للعود»، ابتداءً من عمله في المنتجات حتى وصوله إلى منصب الرئيس التنفيذي. ويروي عمر الجاسر قصة طريفة عن عمله مع والده منذ الصغر.
بعدها تحدثنا مع عمر الجاسر عن منتجات «العربية للعود» وطريقة تصنيعها، كما سألناه عن كثرة فروعها التي وصلت حتى اليوم إلى 900 فرع حول العالم، وعن جدوى توسعهم الكبير حيث افتتحوا فرعهم في مدينة لندن منذ ثماني عشرة سنة، فهل كان من المجدي افتتاح فرع آخر بشكل مماثل؟
ثم سألنا ضيفنا عن الابتكار في تصنيع العلب والهدايا وتغليفها، وعن تجربتهم في البيع عبر المتجر الإلكتروني.
ولم يفتنا سؤاله عن هوامش الربح بين الفروع، وعن سبب وجود التخفيضات المستمرة طوال السنة.
