Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Mercies and God of

all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who

are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Your test result is abnormal, read the text, and what began as a routine health screening

took a scary turn.

Trying not to let my mind go toward worst-case scenarios, I took deep breaths as I made

phone calls to schedule more testing.

I can trust God with this I thought, but my confidence broke down when I got another

text from my daughter the same day.
