بدأنا الحلقة بسؤال ضيفنا عن تطبيق «نمشي»، فقال إن الفكرة بدأت مع ملاحظة خيارات الشراء المتاحة محليًا، إذ تنحصر بين الشراء من المراكز التجارية أو شحن المنتجات من الخارج. فجاء نمشي رغبةً في توفير الراحة الشرائية للعميل.
ثمّ تحدثنا عن بدايات التطبيق عام 2011. أوضح لنا عرب أسباب اقتصار التطبيق على بيع الأحذية في البداية، وعن انطلاق نمشي من الإمارات إلى السعودية، وحجم الإقبال عليه.
كما سألناه عن المنافسين، فأجابنا أن المنافسة كانت معدومة حينها، وهذا شكّل تحديًا كبيرًا في فهم السوق وفي تقديم تجربة جديدة كليًا للعميل.
تحدث أيضًا عن اختلاف التسويق في غياب المنافسين وبعد ظهورهم، وعن اختلاف تجربة التجارة الإلكترونية في السنوات العشر الأخيرة، وتغيُّر سلوك العميل ومتطلباته تبعًا لذلك. كما ناقشنا تحديات طرق الدفع، ومشاكل خيار الدفع عند الاستلام، وعن إتاحة خيارات أخرى للعملاء كالشراء بالتقسيط، وظهور أبل باي وتابي محليًا.
