Thanks for joining me today on your daily prayer. My name is Rachel Wojo and I am the host of the

Untangling Life Podcast. Today I want to share with you a prayer for the

messy middle. You aren't listening to me. I've had enough, get out of my house.

Harsh, isn't it? Brokenness reveals itself in so many ways. A few years ago I felt very broken over a

verbal misunderstanding. I knew the other party could only see her way and

thought I was completely wrong.

The exasperation grew when she failed to listen to me and I lost my temper for the first time

and a long time.

As a Christian I felt extremely discouraged. My

wrong did not help her wrong. It only made the situation more complicated.

The relationship were broken.

My heart hurt and I ask the Lord how to move forward

and find joy after the encounter.

The argument and broken relationship I just mentioned

were over my daughter's care.

Taylor suffered from a rare neurologically degenerative disease. As her mama I felt and

believed one thing and someone else who cared about Taylor believed another.

Misunderstanding in emotional distress caused a broken relationship.

A few days later, the palliative care team came to visit Taylor and while it might seem strange to find

joy and all that I believe God brought someone to help our family keep her as comfortable

and content as possible.

I discovered joy in his provision.
