but it is our first show post-Book Riot Live,

and it feels like the first show post election because that whole weekend

was just like a haze it was and it was very like emotional hangover yeah like several days after

yeah um in a good way a lot of ways but also like a roll bad way a lot of work yes it was the silver

lining on like the, the dark, dark cloud. Yeah. So before we get into it, I wanted to tell you how the show works. If this is your first time listening, this is going to be a weird one for you, just to warn you. But usually how the show works is, you know, we're a personalized reading recommendation show, like I said. So you send us your reading recommendation requests. If you need, you know, you're going on a trip and you want books about that area, or you need a book to fill a hole in your heart left by Harry Potter or anything like that, something for your book club, a present. Send it to us and we'll answer it on the show. You can email your requests to get booked at bookriot.com or you can drop them in the form at the bottom of the show notes, which are on the site. We are also answering some questions by email instead of on the show if they're repeats. So if we'd answer the question or similar question on the air before, we're not going to make you go back and listen to all 57 episodes.
