Hello, welcome to Meethead Hippie podcast. I am your host, Emily Shrum, and we're actually

going to start this podcast in the weirdest way possible, because there's some things

happening in the sky to some planets Saturn and Uranus. And I love writing poems for planets

because sometimes I do it just

impulsively. And then I look back and everything about the poem and where I was, the example

being my last poem to Uranus, which is the planet of innovation and magic and I don't know everything I love just

let's disrupt shit kind of vibe I made a poem and I was drinking turmeric out of an

owl mug and I just realized this where I was like oh oh my gosh, the last poem I wrote to Uranus,

I was in Denver drinking turmeric tea in an out mug.

And now I'm in Maui, collecting turmeric from farmers, peeling it, processing it,

so I can build a new tealine from scratch because the sourcing of

turmeric is all bullshit and it needs to be done regeneratively. And then I went on top of the volcano

Haleiocula and saw an owl. And there's owls everywhere in my life right now. So it was just like,

okay, I'm going to write planets, poems for the rest of my life.

And there's a big thing happening with a T-square, Saturn, Uranus, and I wrote a poem for it.

So I'm going to read the poem. I'm going to share my non-astrological expertise on what that

might mean and what that might feel like. And then we're going to talk

about the courage that it takes to get through this weird ass time we are in. And that's
