Hello, here is my G7 summit routine.

It involves walking up quite a steep hill

to get to the ring of steel,

and it is a ring of steel because there's a massive

perimeter fence right in the secure zone and there's a hello hello and lots of very

friendly police officers every 10 meters or so they've got a lot of sitting around to do

but they don't seem too miserable about it. Everyone's actually very chipper here.

I think it's being by the seaside. You can hear the birds tweeting and there's loads of trees and stuff and it's actually

stopped raining or in fact mizzling which is the Cornish trademark combination of

mist and drizzle and the sun even came out a little bit

and now I have to get my accreditation out and the negative COVID test that I did at 5 o'clock this morning.

Right, that's me through security, and now I'm at Trigana Castle, which is, yeah, a castle.

I haven't had a chance to look it up on Wikipedia yet, so I can't tell you

how old it is or who used to live here or who built it. But this is kind of just outside

where the main summit venue is, which is the next bay around Carbus Bay and this is where all the media are

There's some tent set up where we do our our live broadcasts with a lovely view of St Ives in the background

Also in this castle this is where lots of the delegations are staying.
