Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

And it's another great day for democracy, is it not?

It's another great day to be Prime Minister, if your name is Theresa May.

It's another wonderful day to look forward to Prime Minister's questions this morning and this afternoon. Ross Kempsen will be joining us for that, of course,

because Theresa May not only is going to be answering questions from her fellow MPs and colleagues,

she's also at 1245 going to make an announcement. She's about to unveil yet another Brexit

statement at 1245 quarter to one today just before this show ends.

And what on earth could it possibly be about?

Because already the statement that she made yesterday outside of the House of Commons

in which she promised to give the House of Commons members a lot more say,

and possibly a second referendum over Brexit, is in fact fallen so flat that it was dead on arrival.

Not only was it dead on arrival, it was dead on arrival. Not only was it dead on arrival,

it was dead on departure. Nobody wants the deal, nobody cares. And in fact, Theresa May is now,

if anything, closer to the end than she has ever been before. But isn't it a bit like

I was saying to Julia Hartley Brewer, it's like somebody bringing you a car every day and

trying to sell you the same car day after day after day.

Finally, she's given it a wash today and she's brought it before us again.
