Alan, the first gig you ever went to was Iron Maiden at the Edinburgh Playhouse.

Come on, that sounds like a cracker.

It was.

It was a bit of a great introduction to live music, yeah.

Fabulous. Have you seen Iron Maiden several times? Are you still a fan?

Well, I wouldn't say I'm a massive fan. It's the only time I've seen them live. It was a great gig.

I wanted to go to that one because it was a sort of a back-to-basics of like, you know, in a smaller theatre, not the great big stadium tours.
