I think you and I would feel very desperately that we were in need if we were in a situation like that.

God knows I need to get out of here we would be telling him, but we need to learn the

lesson that Paul learned to be content, whatever the circumstances.

I know what it is to be in need, Paul says,

and I know what it is to have plenty.

I have learned the secret of being content in every in any and every situation,

whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want, I can do everything through
