What's up everybody? Welcome to a special bonus episode of the Matthew West podcast. I'm your host Matthew West. And as always, you know, I really hope you like it.

Hey, last year while my song What If was climbing the charts on the radio, I came up with an eight part devotional series on really how to live a no what if and a no regret kind of life.

And I just wrote these devotions out of my own personal quiet times. What I felt like the Lord's been showing me through trial and error, through victories and failures and really just that constant reminder of John 10, 10 when Jesus said,

I have come that they may have a life and have it to the full. You know, before that part of the scripture, though, he lays out Satan's three point plan to destroy us, the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. In other words,

Satan doesn't want you to experience life to the full. But here we are at the beginning of a new year. And I believe that God has great plans for me and for you. And so I'm praying and believing that this will be the best year you've ever experienced.

Maybe not with your circumstances, because we can't control the circumstances around us. We're going to face some hard times these last two years are a great indicator of that.

This world is going to bring us trouble. But what we can do is we can be intentional and we can pursue the right things, the things that have eternal value.

And I have learned time and time again that the most important pursuit that my heart could choose at the beginning of any year, including this year of 2022

is to pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ. And so I wanted to revive this eight part devotional series and podcast form in the hopes that it'll just be another voice of encouragement amidst all the noise.

May this be just a few minutes where you let these words that I felt like the Lord gave me wash over you and remind you that God has great things in store for you.
