We've had a history filled with tumult, filled with anti-Semitism, filled with pogromes,

the Holocaust, destruction after destruction, and after all that, we're still here.

Trauma after trauma.

We've grown, we've evolved, we've adapted, we've learned a great deal about ourselves and become stronger each and every time.

What is that thing that keeps the community from getting collectively down?

Since October 7th, the explosion of anti-Semitism in the United States and around the world has been absolutely horrific.

Violent video shows the moment two Israeli-American men were beaten outside of the

Augustine restaurant in San Jose's Santana, Rome.

15 people were killed and one of two gunmen shot dead after a hail of gunfire tore apart celebrations for the first night of the Jewish Festival of Lights.

Since October 7, 2023, there's been a notable escalation and anti-Semitic attacks globally.

The statistics don't lie, and I'm going to share them during this episode.

But what's even more striking than the number is something else

entirely. Despite the volume of hate, the rise in discrimination and the escalation of violence,

Jewish people have persevered. Not because the threat is new, a survival instinct forged long before October 7th, long before the Holocaust, long before

recorded history.

Empires rose and fell, civilians vanished, and yet the Jewish

people, small and number, targeted and scattered, are still here. So what's the secret?

Well, I can tell you it isn't one thing. It's Jewish thought, faith, and tradition, rooted in psychology, meaning, and very importantly,

community.
