A Malaysia Airlines plane carrying nearly 300 people on board has crashed in Ukraine near the Russian border.

There are claims it was shot down.

Ukraine and Russia are both denying responsibility.

There was people at work on the crime scene trying to cover up the truth.

There's an old saying, a lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth

starts to tie its shoes.

You start thinking if they have to use these kind of tactics, then they know something that we don't. In mid-July 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 disappeared from the radar screens.

It tumbles from the sky over the village of Grabova, East in Ukraine, raining 298 innocent people and their possessions, over a six mile area.

An outrage world demanded answers.

It seemed that only a missile could have knocked a Boeing-77 airliner from the skies in a single instant,

and Eastern Ukraine had plenty of those on the ground at the time.

In the disputed Denis region ethnic Russian separatists were fighting a war of independence.

The Ukrainian government was desperately trying to hold on to its authority.

In the background, the hidden hand of Russia was willing the separatists on, providing them with advisors,

arms, cash and even soldiers. So whose missile was it?

President Obama had already openly accused the Russian

separatists, but the Russians in turn blame the Ukrainians. The great powers

faced off. And the intelligence forces in particular. That's Mark Galyotti. He's a
