Good morning, Church,

and a special good morning to all of our first through fifth graders.

I am Kim Villar and I am the elementary,

Associate Elementary Minister here at the Village.

And I'm going to be reading from Acts,

Chapter 13, Verses 1 through 3.

Now there were in the Church of Antioch,

prophets and teachers,

Barnabas, Simian, who was called Niger,

Lucius of Cyrene,

Manayan, a lifelong friend of Herod the Tetraak, and Saul.

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting,

the Holy Spirit said,

Set apart for me, Barnabas, and Saul,

for the work to which I have called them.

Then after fasting and praying,

they laid their hands on them and sent them off.

This is the word of the Lord.
