0:39.0	His name is Aaron Schroer, and he's going to simply tell a story.
0:43.0	The story of how one man, a single father, realized that things were not going to be right for his son if he sent him back to school.
0:52.0	What happened, Aaron, is that the Metro Nashville School Board, which is the school board his child is part of,
0:59.0	got together in a secret meeting and reversed their policy in an effort to match children up for the 2021-2022 year school year.
1:06.0	They went from optional to mandatory.
1:09.0	And with encouragement from this podcast in our community, Aaron decided it would be a good idea to pull his son out of school
1:15.0	and sent a withdrawal notice to the school the day after he found out they had done this.
1:20.0	He joins us today because he wants to help push you if you're a bit apprehensive over the fence and off the fence into homeschooling.
1:28.0	And I don't think he wants to push the person who's like totally opposed to this.
1:32.0	I think the reason he's really motivated to be on the show with us today and talk about his story and show if I can do it then you can too.
1:39.0	Which to me, that is one of the most famous lines, not famous lines, one of my favorite lines from any song.
1:45.0	There was a song in the movie Eight Seconds and it was called Heroes by Billy Dean.
1:53.0	And in that line, he says the best thing they ever do is point to a song and say if I can you can do.
1:59.0	And to me, I think that is the definition of hero.
2:02.0	I don't think hero always has to be something that went to the freaking outer space or something like that or some sports figure or something.
2:07.0	The average everyday person that demonstrates what can be done and actually encourages others to do it.
