Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I'm joined by Teresa the Great, My Habibi, and Mr. Confident himself, Trevor, has joined us today.

Let us begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all of those we've promised to pray for.

Our meditation comes from the first reading of the mass today,

Isaiah chapter 65.

Thus says the Lord, now I create new heavens and a new earth, and the past will not be remembered, and

will come no more to men's minds.

Be glad and rejoice forever and ever for what I am creating because I now create Jerusalem

Joy and her people gladness. I shall rejoice over Jerusalem and exalt in my people.

No more will the sound of weeping or the sound of cries be heard in her.

And her, no more will be found the infant living a few days

only, or the old man not living to the end of his days. To die at the age of a hundred will be dying young. Not to live to be a

hundred will be a sign of a curse. They will build houses and inhabit them, plant

vineyards, and eat their fruit.

We are given this prophecy and promise of a new heavens and a new earth at this moment in Lent to give us encouragement and hope because this is the halfway mark.

Let this be a cause of self-reflection.

How have we done in our Lenten resolutions?

Have we stayed vigilant or have we grown slack?

If we look our Lord in the eyes... have we grown slack?

If we look our Lord in the eyes, what would we say?
