Young people, in a particular, young men returning to the church.

Some are going to Roman Catholic.

A lot are going to Roman Catholic churches and other denominations as well. Why is it happening?

What does it mean? Are there any political divides on this return to church? Welcome back to

Issues, etc. I'm Todd Wilkin, joining us to talk about a new Gallup poll on religiosity in the U.S.

Gallup has released this new poll on religiosity. What does it show us about religiosity among young men?

It's very interesting.

Amongst young men aged 18 to 29, 42% said religion is very important in their own life.

It's a 14% point gain from two years ago.

So a 14% point gain in the number of

young men who say religion is very important in their life. That's a big increase.

What political trends does the poll show regarding young Republican men and women?

It's kind of interesting. You do see an increase in church attendance, especially amongst
