| 1:15.6 | gospel now is taken from Luke. We'll be reading from Luke all during this liturgical |
| 1:19.5 | year. And of course, Luke is such a delight because he's a great literary |
| 1:23.5 | artist and great theological master. But in this passage, Luke portrays Jesus in |
| 1:30.2 | full apocalyptic mode. What I mean is he's speaking about the end of the world. |
| 1:35.5 | Here's one little passage from his speech. There will be signs in the sun, the moon, |
| 1:42.8 | and the stars. And on earth, nations will be in dismay. People will die of fright |
| 1:50.7 | in anticipation of what is coming upon the world. |
