when Jesus rose from the dead on that first Easter,

Pastor Greg Lorry says everything changed.

In a very real sense, death itself died.

Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life.

He that believes in me, though he were dead,

yet shall he live.

And whoever lives and believes in me, shall never die. And when Jesus lives and believes in me shall never die.

And when Jesus died and rose again, he rendered death powerless.

That's the power of what happened when Christ rose.

This is the day when the lost I found.

This is the day for a new beginning.

Amazing grace how sweet the town.

Again you hear and the angels are seen it.

This is the day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Without the Lord's death commemorated on Good Friday,

there's no forgiveness of sin.

And regarding the resurrection, Paul said,

if Christ has not been raised,

...
