I mean, I'm hanging in there.

There was a skunk in my backyard last night.

A skunk?

Yeah.

Right?

No, good news is I'm smart enough to stay in my car until it walked far enough away.

We used, oh man, when I was a kid, we would have so many skunks because one of the

thousands of rental houses we lived in was on the edge of a reservoir of palisade. And I guess

because it was fresh water, it drew all sorts of animals. The skunks would just turn around.

It was like they knew my dad lived there and they would just spray the house. I mean, we would have to, there were times we would have to evacuate the house for

an entire day with all the windows open just to get the skunk smell out. Danielle used to be

possums, raccoons, and then the skunks showed up. That's the thing. My late father-in-law, Dean,

he had a half a dozen raccoons in Door County, Northern Wisconsin, half a dozen raccoons that would come to the back door of the house and basically knock. And he would put paper plates of cat food out. And they would stand there and they would eat with their little hands.
