Okay, we are alive. Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on today's show. I have a very special guest. His name is Mark DeWziac. His last name is spelled, D-A-W-D-Z-I-A-K. Again, D-A-W-I-D-Z-I-K. And he came to my attention after I spoke with Kent Rasmussen about Mark train me in a great conversation.

He's definitely an expert.

Actually, an expert among experts probably.

But he recommended Mark.

And when he said Edgar Al-Poh, I was like, oh, yeah, for sure.

So I was an easy yes to this because just for background.

For me, I used to have an anthology.

I was looking for it on Amazon.

This is like 30 years ago.

I read a lot or if not all of those short stories and really impressive.

And I'm glad I read them and really one of the great literary figures in American history.

I also listened to a podcast with Mark.

He was talking in Mark Twain's Hartford House being interviewed. So I got a lot of background about

that. I scanned through the book. So I can't say I've read the book. I usually read through the

books. I just was busy dealing with kind of family matters. But we're going to kind of talk to this book that he published.

Last year, if you're watching this on X, Rumble or Rockfin, you'll see the title,

a nice, well-made title.

A full title is A Mystery of Mysteries, The Death and Life of Edgar Allan Poe.

And so that's kind of an intro, but this is not his first book. He's a very accomplished

author and actor. I saw some of his acting. He actually looks and acts as Mark, looks like,

and acts as Mark Twain. But just a little bit more of his background.

He's the author or editor of 25 books,
