Charlie, was this a Marino masterclass?

It was a great result, but I think, I don't think, you know, he envisioned, right, let's not have a shot whilst they've got 11 men for the first hour, and then get Harry Winks to sprint clear from a corner,

get a man sent off and then really turn the screw.

They did, though, set up in a way to frustrate,

and to a degree they did that,

although City had quite a few chances.

So Masterclass might be pushing it,

but a great result, so, you know,

let's be positive about that and

you know a clean sheet against the champions and they were clinical so yeah very good in that respect

uh i know one or two our colleagues on fleet street did describe it as a master class i think that as

charlie says that's probably overdoing it a little bit but i mean it's probably not a million miles off what he wanted to do. I mean, as you say, he would have wanted to frustrate City. He would have wanted to sit deep. He would have wanted to limit the chances they had, which you'd probably say they did fail to do. Yeah, I think that's what, for it to be a master class, I think you'd need for that first hour city to be scratching their heads thinking, how do we break down this defence?

Whereas when you're having like open goals missed, penalty misses, uh, penalty saves.

Penalty saves, sure.
