back. There's a lot to get to. You know, I want to talk a little bit later about the fact that

Nikki Haley is the first non-Trump candidate in the 2024 GOP nominating contest, and I want to

get sort of your broader predictions for 2024. But before we get to that, let's talk about where we

are. So, you know, as we're talking about this, we're just a week past President Joe Biden's

State of the Union address. The Republican House, led by Kevin McCarthy, has started its sort of

cockamamey investigations, which so far have been really just, I think, opportunities to illustrate

how goofy and crazy they are. And, you know, we still have this looming debt ceiling. It's not a

crisis yet, but it could be in which, you know, the government will run out of the ability to borrow

money to pay debts. It's already incurred, and I think we always need to remind that this is not

for future spending. This is money we've already spent and we need to pay for. And so,

President Biden did a magnificent job not only in a speech as written, but also understanding where

Republicans were as far as Social Security and Medicare, which they have singularly created,

or recreated as the third rail in American politics. And he led them into this canyon they can't

get out of. So, they promised they won't cut Social Security and Medicare. They don't want to cut
