I'm doing just fine.

Very busy, a very busy week because I, and I did this last year, I am a judge for the very prestigious Novak fellowship.

And so I get to look over these very smart kids.

Finalists were in the process, so no names, but we're going through this.

Are these college age kids?

These are, no, these are kids who are now out of college.

Technically adults, I guess.

Technically so, you know, anywhere.

They're up and coming journalists.

Okay.

And now that I'm already past my prime journalist, September of my years

journalist, we're on the down slope. I can now look back and I can see and try to pick kids who would do

things I did not do. And I think about, they're all very smart. And it's funny. I think back

to when I started, I didn't know about these opportunities and some of them

did not yet exist. At the time, they were called Phillips Foundation Fellowships. Yes. I would have

liked to have applied and then get rejected. Yeah. But that would have been. Oh, I think I actually

did one time. No. I think so. Really? Yeah. Oh. They make mistakes, but I try not to make mistakes now.
